Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming, a leading pet grooming franchise in the United States, is entering Michigan for the first time with a planned location in Northville. More stores are expected to be added in the state.
In addition to offering pet grooming services and supplies, each location has a bakery that makes all-natural dog treats free of artificial flavors, fillers, and preservatives. Overall, the US pet industry is a $124-billion industry.
The entry into Michigan and Oregon comes on the heels of rapid growth. By 2023, the company has entered into agreements to open stores in Washington DC and 10 new states, including California, Arizona, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Washington, Massachusetts, and Minnesota.
With the addition of Michigan and Oregon, Woof Gang will soon have locations in 30 states, covering more than half of the United States. Northville’s exact location and a timeline for opening were not given.
“We are excited to start the new year by expanding our footprint in Oregon and Michigan,” said Ricardo Azevedo, CEO of Miami-based Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming. “This expansion is not just about opening new stores; it’s about expanding our family and spreading love and joy to the pet communities we serve.”
In January 2024, Woof Gang opened its first international location in Oakville, Canada, a suburb of Toronto. The company has plans to add five additional stores slated for the Greater Toronto area.
In addition, the brand is looking for entrepreneurs to become franchisees. With more than 85 million homes with pets in the United States and an innovative business model with a dual concept, prospective franchisees can learn more at franchise.woofgangbakery.com.
