A woman in the US identified as a dog as given insight into her daily life.
The social media star, who calls herself Meow, identifies as a Dalmatian and often livestreams on the gaming platform Twitch.
He recently appeared on the Australian radio show The Kyle & Jackie O Show to talk about what it’s like to live as a dog.
He told the hosts that he sleeps in a crate, eats dog treats and even has ‘handlers’ taking care of him.
Meow said: “I have pastel sheets and pastel pillows in there, something about being in a confined space, I don’t know if it makes me feel safe from the world or makes me feel like the world is safe from me but it feels. comfort for sure!
“It fits me, the rule of thumb with a dog is if they can stand on it, it’s good enough for them, so I just stand on all fours.”
Radio hosts have questioned whether he truly identifies as a dog, or if he just has a dog-esque spirit.
She responded by saying she was a “dog girl” and highlighted her love of “play.”
He said: “I think the wonder that comes with playing and being enchanted by life around you is a beautiful thing. I’m not sure if I ever put two and two together that I had to stop that whenever I became an adult .
“I thought that once I made my own money and paid my own rent, I could do whatever I wanted, and I wanted to be a dog!”
When Meow was asked if she was in a relationship, she said she didn’t have a boyfriend but was friends with her ‘handlers.’
She explained: “I have handlers. It’s like a dog trainer. They feed me, they take me for walks, we train, which is one of my favorites, because I get treats.”
Foods range from human food like shredded chicken or beef jerky, to real life dog biscuits.
He even revealed that he eats dog food, but said he adds “bone broth or some additives” to it because it’s “pretty cheap.”
Meow has more than 11,000 followers on his Instagram account, and says he feels “more human” by getting in touch with his “primal, animalistic” side.
He said: ‘I don’t find myself focusing on other people and their reactions to me because I’m in the moment of just chasing the ball, being a dog, I want to sit and perform for who my focus of attention.’
