Hi, I’m Christopher! Read my introduction to learn more about me and my silly Russian Blue cat, Olga.
I try not to bore my dog-loving friends with too many cat stories, but it’s hard because I live with a hilarious goofball who never ceases to surprise me. Cats are fascinating subjects, and I doubt I’ll have trouble writing about Olga’s antics. Although, like most cats, he dislikes change and enjoys following a routine, he can be unpredictable.
I can expect him to stare at me and whine when dinner is hours away, but he doesn’t start the begging process at the same time every day. After a few naps, he was glued to the window and couldn’t take his eyes off the birds and squirrels in my yard. He spends more time there as the temperature rises and a new visitor catches his attention.
Watching the Window
A field mouse, or more likely many field mice, jumps on the grass in the afternoon. I understand that rats spread disease and carry parasites, but I’m happy to see rats as long as they don’t inhabit my house or take over my backyard. They distracted Olga and allowed me to spend my last working hours in a calmer state.
He was so excited that he attacked the blinds and scratched the windows. I don’t get angry because he takes his frustration out on inanimate objects instead of my legs or back. When he isn’t distracted by wildlife and I think I’m waiting too long to serve dinner, he usually finds something else to attack before turning violent.
Hunger attacks
I haven’t trained him to exercise restraint when handling his afternoon hunger, but he seems to be more patient than he was a year ago, when he would chew on my shoelaces, dive on my back, or pinch my legs. legs However, he still attacks me from time to time or runs to the other side of my house and howls in the laundry room.
Some people hate cats because of their unusual or unpredictable behavior. They were worried about a sudden attack, but I expected them. When Olga ran up to me after hiding behind the couch, ran her foot over the back of my leg, and ruffled her fur to look more terrifying, it broke me.
Demonic Behavior
I keep the door closed when I’m in the shower so she doesn’t tear the shower curtain, but besides, I’m pretty tolerant when she morphs into a demon. I love watching him run around my house and jump from the couch to the recliner. His eyes were wide, and he looked like a possessed cat. I have a rocking recliner, and when Olga dived into it, the back crashed into the drywall.
It sounded like someone hitting the wall with a sledgehammer, and the first time he did it, the noise scared him, but now, he wasn’t phased by it. He ignored it and continued to run at full speed until he slowed down a bit and tried to climb the molding of the wall in the hallway. Sometimes, he scratches my antique table or wipes the headboard of my bed. I tell her to stop or chase her away, but it’s hard for me to get angry with her. He’s a fun little creep, and that’s why I think some pet owners like to talk and write about their crazy cats.
