Yes, I mentioned that I felt lucky to be a therapy cat yesterday. And that’s just one of the many things I’m thankful for this Thanksgiving. I have to say that my list is pretty weird for a kitten!
- I’m thankful that I go on adventures!
Most cats spend all their time at home, and the only times they leave are to go to the vet, or when people move to a new place. I have adventures several times per month! And sometimes I go on adventures that take me out of town! I’ve been to ten states and one province so far! And I know my man has many more plans for me in 2025. - I am thankful for my extensive wardrobe!
Most cats hate wearing clothes but I really enjoy this. Because of this, my man can’t stop buying interesting looking clothes for me. For me, getting dressed is a fun part of my life that I look forward to. You should hear me purring when my human pulls out a dress for me. - I am also grateful for my photo and video sessions!
I’m even more excited about this than my dress! I was born in front of the camera. And my sessions are a big part of the time my man and I spend together. I’m so good at them that when I pay for shoots, the photographer always says how professional I am. - I’m thankful for all my friends, which includes everyone I’ve ever met!
I’ve never met a stranger, and I mean that literally! I’m always happy to meet new people, and I do that through my therapy cat visits and personal appearances. My man is always looking for new opportunities for me to meet people because he understands how friendly I am. - I am thankful for my human boyfriend!
Other than my human and my social media followers and my breeder, she is my biggest fan! Okay, that puts him at about 521,673 on the list, so maybe that’s not a good indicator. But he really thinks I’m awesome and he’s always coming up with silly ideas for videos for me. So far, my man has only taken her to about three of them. - I’m thankful for the peach kitty!
The fact that a feral cat decided he wanted to hang out with me never ceases to amaze my human. But considering how people react when they see me, I take it in stride. - Treats!
Treats are the best thing ever. They may be above adventures and friends. - And I thank my man!
He said I didn’t have to mention him, but I thought I should anyway!
I hope you have a great Thanksgiving with lots of good food, and that you spend it with the people you care about (even if it’s just you). Sometimes it’s hard to be thankful, and if that’s an issue for you this year, at least be kind — to yourself, and to other people who need it.
