Dr. Adam Christman is a veterinarian who shares all kinds of pet-related information on his social media platforms, and it’s always helpful. He recently attended the Western Veterinary Conference and shared his Top 5 favorite innovative products for cats and dogs that he saw while there.
She shared the video on Thursday, February 29th, and some of these products are really cool! From dental wipes for your puppy’s teeth to a product that helps with separation anxiety to even a ‘smart’ litter box, these products will be life changing for many pet parents!
Which is your favorite new find? While I don’t have a cat, the ‘smart’ litter box seems like a great idea! The comments of Dr. Christman is all over the place with their favorites, but it seems clear that many people are interested in the DentaBliss product to help with brushing. And I loved @Sp00ky Abby’s comment, “Veterinary medicine is amazing and it keeps getting better as technology advances. Thinking more about going back to school for my CVT license!”

There are some really cool products out there for pets! I thought I’d check out the prices on the things the doctor recommends because I’m always curious about the value of things. Dentabliss instead of actually brushing your pup’s teeth seems to have good reviews at around $20 for 50 wipes, not too expensive. But @Mejnoonah shared her experience, “I tried the finger mitts. One of my dogs made it into a game of grabbing his finger and shaking it like a dead animal”. So maybe they don’t work for everyone!
The Calmer Canine device is expensive – around $199. It also didn’t get the best reviews on Amazon, many saying the device didn’t fit properly. There are some good reviews, but to be honest, there are only 17 reviews in total, which I don’t think is enough to know what people think about it.
I also looked up the Petivity Smart Litter Box System and was not expecting a price tag of $149.99 on Amazon, and it was on sale. It only has 76 reviews, but more than 60% of raters gave the litter box a five-star review. Most of the negative reviews are due to technical issues or people who have had more than one cat. If you only have one cat, it might be worth it.
There are so many wonderful things to try if you have pets! One of the coolest things I’ve seen on TikTok is this GuliGuli Hiibo robot – it lets you talk to and see your pets, and it even gives them treats! Genius!
