We couldn’t do it if we tried. A 17-year-old Utah boy is dealing with the consequences of a series of alleged incidents involving taping dead fish to the state’s bank machines.
There are so many different angles a writer can take when presenting a story like this to the public, but I choose to present the facts as we know them. There are many Utah news sources including Fox 13 reported on a story involving a teenage boy, some tape, and some fish. This young man reportedly uploaded videos of himself using tape to stick dead fish to automated teller machines in several Utah cities.
Utah Teen Caught Because She Posted Her Crimes On Social Media
Police in Utah were not amused and discovered the boy’s identity through social media. Charges have been filed because tampering with ATMs is illegal. The boy said he was just fooling around and didn’t mean any harm, according to reports. Some animal rights activists may consider these practices alone-lower. Sorry, but it had to be done.
Not to defend this young man’s actions, but kids do more stupid things these days. I’d say that participating in viral challenges like having hot water doused on you or chicken marinated in NyQuil is far more stupid than hanging a cigarette out of a fish’s mouth and sticking it in an ATM.
The combination of cameras mounted inside the banking machines and the information provided on the teenager’s social media page made this arrest easy for Utah police. We just hope this boy gets the help and support he needs and that he doesn’t spend the rest of his life landed– about having no real purpose in life.
8 Annoying Things That Really Should Be Illegal in Twin Falls
I want to live in Twin Falls. Despite the many rants on social media, Twin Falls is not like any other city. But that doesn’t mean I think Twin Falls is perfect.
