On February 10, Petsense by Tractor Supply celebrated its 200th openingth store with a grand opening celebration in Phenix City, Alabama. To mark the milestone, the company hosted a special grand opening celebration at the new store, led by Matthew Rubin, Petsense divisional president of the Tractor Supply team and joined by Phenix City Mayor Eddie Lowe and Melissa Gaunt, chief executive officer and president of the East Alabama Chamber of Commerce. The team cut the ribbon to mark the opening of the store in front of many pet owners and friends. Guests received swag bags, samples from favorite brands, treats for their pets, and more.
“We are excited to have so much to celebrate at Petsense by Tractor Supply,” said Rubin. “Our team members regularly go above and beyond to care for all types of pets, and they made this milestone possible. We are excited to add Phenix City to the Petsense by Tractor Supply family and look forward to meeting our new neighbors and pet-loving friends in this community.”
Following the ribbon cutting, Petsense by Tractor Supply along with Puppies & Golf, presented a $5,000 donation to the East Alabama Humane Society to support the group’s important work. Additionally, Petsense by Tractor Supply and the Tractor Supply Company Foundation presented a $5,000 donation to Columbus Purrs N Paws to support their mission.
