Emma’s story is a heart touching one. He was left outside a shelter in a crate with only a few blankets and toys.
At 14 years old and weighing just 4.5 pounds, Emma faced a scary and uncertain future until a kind couple, Adrian and Spencer, saw her picture on the shelter’s website.

Seeing this little old dog in need made them very sad, and they wanted to help. At first, they contacted the shelter to donate blankets or anything to make Emma more comfortable.
But soon, they felt a deeper connection with him. They called her “salt and pepper diva” and couldn’t resist her charm. Emma, their little velcro dog, follows them everywhere, looking for love and attention.
Emma has a difficult past. He has a strange way of walking, probably because he spent too much time in a kennel.
Adrian and Spencer thought that he had been kept in such a small space for so long that his body had become rigid. But at home, Emma began to act more independently, enjoying her ability to walk around again.
One of Emma’s cutest features is her little tongue sticking out of the side of her mouth. This happens when he is happy, showing his comfort and joy. Emma is not alone in Adrian and Spencer’s home; they also take care of other older dogs, each with their own story.

From Gus, a senior Chihuahua, to Milly, a former street dog, and Eugene, a German Shorthaired Pointer, their home is filled with the friendly presence of older dogs.
Adrian and Spencer’s love for these senior dogs is clear. They cherish every moment with them, knowing how precious time is.
They have a strong bond with these older dogs, as they enjoy the love these dogs give and give them the care they need.
Emma’s transformation into her new home is heartwarming. From an abandoned dog left outside a shelter, he became a beloved member of the family.
