We love all the puppies in our lives, although we have to admit that we don’t love the cleaning duty and all the little plastic bags.
A study from 2022 estimates that in the course of our daily walks and playtime, we go through over 415 billion plastic dog poop bags each year.
And while our dogs may not be the ones swiping the credit card, their little doggy carbon “pawprint” does exist. The good news is that we can work to reduce their impact on the planet alongside our own efforts.
As with shopping for yourself, consider sustainable pet products that use safe ingredients and promote processes that are good for the planet. After all, don’t we all want a clean, green doggy park to enjoy for years to come?
