MIAMI — Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming has announced its entry into two new states, further expanding its footprint across the United States. Due to its strong growth in 2023, the retail franchise has signed agreements for new locations in Oregon and Michigan.
The Oregon store is located in Lake Oswego, just outside of Portland, and the Michigan store is located in Northville, near Ann Arbor.
“We are excited to start the new year by expanding our footprint in Oregon and Michigan,” said Ricardo Azevedo, chief executive officer of Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming. “This expansion is not just about opening new stores; it’s about expanding our family and spreading love and joy to the pet communities we serve. Each new location reinforces our mission to enrich the lives of pets and their owners with our exceptional products and services.”
This latest retail expansion into Oregon and Michigan follows continued expansion for Woof Gang. In February 2024, the franchise shared its plans to “paint Canada pink” by establishing several retail locations.
“Inking agreements in these markets at the start of opening our first international location in Canada is a true testament to Woof Gang’s profitability and success for entrepreneurs,” added Azevedo.
Throughout 2023, the company announced several new locations and entrances in 10 new states, including California, Arizona, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Washington, Massachusetts, and Minnesota, as well as Washington DC Expansions which has earned the company recognition in the Businessman2024 Franchise 500 Ranking list, with unit growth of 51.7% over the past three years.
With the addition of Oregon and Michigan, Woof Gang now boasts a presence in 30 states, covering more than half of the United States.
