Glasgow Angling Centre, Angling Scotland and the SFCA have teamed up to offer one-on-one coaching for all ages on the Forth and Clyde Canal, just 2 minutes’ walk from the GAC, on the 9th -10th March as part of the GAC Spring Open Weekend Event – Scotland’s biggest FREE angling event
FREE Angling Taster/Development Session on the Forth & Clyde Canal as part of the Glasgow Angling Center Open Weekend.
- Come along and try canal fishing with qualified and Licensed Angling Coaches.
- All bait and equipment provided.
- Coaches will provide a range of coaching options including
basic introduction
setting up tackle,
tying the knot
throwing tuition - Answering your technical questions and providing advice and guidance.

The event is open to anyone and completely FREE.
UNDER 16’s MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.
Under 18s are also welcome FREE SFCA membership which includes FREE fishing on the Forth and Clyde and Union Canals – ask the coaches for details on the day!
