UPPER SAUCON TWP., Pa. – A pair of businesses popping up at The Promenade Shops in Saucon Valley carry unique, handmade clothing and accessories for your canine companions.
Bearded Ladies & Co., a pet accessory company that offers scarves, collars and more, and SnugPups, a business that offers hand-crafted dog coats including fleece coats, raincoats and couture coats, will host a pop-up boutique, Feb. 11 at The Promenade Pop-Up Shop, 2845 Center Valley Parkway, Upper Saucon Township.

“They have your pup covered from head to tail with dog scarves, bow ties, collars, coats and leashes,” an announcement on The Promenade Shops’ Facebook page.
Bearded Ladies & Co is a pet accessory company inspired by a miniature Schnauzer and Kerry Blue Terrier.
Customers can shop collars and scarves in a wide range of prints and styles.
All scarves are reversible, available in four sizes suitable for different breeds and constructed in northeastern Pennsylvania using a high-quality quilt cotton.

The scarves are designed with a “V” to “ensure a pawfect fit,” according to a message on the business’s website.
SnugPups, with the tagline “wag on, walk warm!”, offers custom-made coats for all dogs that are “built to last, easy to use and handcrafted in Pennsylvania,” according to the business’ website.
Customers can shop a variety of coat designs and styles, including fleece dog coats available in dozens of patters and made with cozy, double-lined polyester fleece “to keep your pooch warm and dry dogs in any season.”
SnugPups, with the tagline “wag on, walk warm!”, offers custom-made coats for all dogs that are “built to last, easy to use and made in Pennsylvania.”
Other options include protective and stylish dog raincoats, suitable for rainy and windy days, and couture dog coats, inspired by designers on Madison Avenue and the Champs-Elysee.
“These high-end coats are handcrafted to reflect your pup’s style, charisma, and remarkable taste,” says a message on the SnugPups website. “Your pup will have a little swagger in their cool step!”
SnugPups aim to fit dogs of every shape and size with a warm coat that’s easy to put on and take off.
“No more wrestling your dogs legs through holes,” a business description reads. “No more trying to buckle something under your dog’s shaking head. Our coats just go over the head and a strap in the middle. It’s that simple.”
The Promenade Pop-Up Shop, a dedicated 1,500-square-foot space that debuted last summer, gives local entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their retail brands. The store is located next to Carter’s.
The Promenade Pop-Up Shop allows guests to enjoy an ever-changing lineup of “exclusive retail brands and eclectic merchandise offered alongside traditional favorites,” the shopping center announced.
