A Las Vegas groomer recently took her Maltese-Yorkshire terrier mix, Tuffy, to a dog grooming salon. When he went to see her, she said her dog was paralyzed.
When she took her dog to a vet, they informed her that Tuffy’s back had a ruptured disk that would require a $10,000 operation to address. But most pet parents can’t afford to pay that much, and neither can Tuffy’s mom. Heartbroken, he realized he had to kill his beloved companion.
Tuffy isn’t the only dog facing mistreatment and injury at this Las Vegas pet grooming boutique. Since this case came to light, other pet parents have come forward to share their own harrowing experiences. One said her puppy, Turbina, was returned to her injured – her lower jaw was broken.
