Nilodor Pet Brands, a multi-market odor elimination and cleaning solutions specialist and contract manufacturer to many powerhouse brands in the pet shampoo and pet odor elimination markets, recently announced that Bobbi Panter, the creator of her namesake line of pet shampoos, has rejoined the company, effective immediately.
Panter became a legend in the pet-product market when he developed his own, high-quality, customized pet shampoos. She began by mixing ingredients in her kitchen to help her own pet, who developed sensitive skin and damaged fur as a result of prescription steroids. Finding success, she is ready to take her homemade concoctions to market to help other dogs. Panter contracts with Nilodor Pet Brands. Nilodor makes his custom creations to his exact specifications. Eventually, Nilodor Pet bought the Bobbi Panter brand and still makes the products today.
“We are delighted to have Bobbi back. We welcome his expertise, guidance and personality to the brand that bears his name,” said Derek Nielsen, VP of sales for Nilodor Pet Brands. “I know everyone in the pet care industry can’t wait to see and speak with him at upcoming trade shows and events. He is a proven visionary, and his unique ability to anticipate the needs of pet lovers will help redefine the pet product category.
The pet care products developed by Panter are a departure from harsh chemicals, fillers and an over-reliance on fragrances that mask odors and leave fur dull and dry. skin. To help her dog Bobo, she set out on a mission to develop shampoos that were high in essential oils, solved problems, and made skin and fur look and smell great. He was determined to create products similar to those he would use himself. He first eliminated the sodium chloride used as a thickener in pet shampoos. Instead, she uses nourishing, moisturizing ingredients and essential oils that can penetrate and cleanse without leaving a salt residue. Bobbi became a trusted name in the pet industry because her products were made out of love for her own dogs — and because they worked.
Panter has remained active in the pet industry and on social media, offering fans a glimpse into her life and the lives of her dogs, Bebe and Cece, who are celebrities in their own right, and now the new generation, Little B and Charlee. He has been active in philanthropic organizations such as Canine Companions, Pup Culture Rescue, PAWS Chicago and The Service Club of Chicago.
“Pets and pet care have always been a big part of my life and my passion,” Panter said. “This collaboration with Nilodor Pet and returning to the brand that I created and that we have grown together is a homecoming. It feels right. I am excited and looking forward to what we can do together and for what the future holds .”
