The stars are out for Hollywood’s biggest night! No, we’re not talking about the 96th Academy Awards, which debuted on Sunday, March 10. We’re talking about the adorable animals of Meyer’s Pet Care, who recreated the movie posters of the nominated films of the Oscars this year.
You can barely tell the difference between the posters — okay, maybe there’s a few main difference. But they are similar.
Shared by a day care facility, the video shows that with a little effort (and some very cooperative pets) you can create some real masterpieces.

“Every year we remake Oscar Best Picture nominee movie posters with our day care dogs,” they explained in the video’s onscreen caption.
They covered all the big movies from the year like Past Lives, Oppenheimer, Barbie, and Anatomy of the Fall. Naturally, they changed the names of the movies for the puppy versions – Past Lives became “Pet Lives,” Oppenheimer became “Doggenheimer,” and Anatomy of the Fall hilariously became “Anatomy of the Ball.”
Other highlights are Meyer’s take on Poor creatures poster (which naturally became “Pupper Things”), maestro became “Muttstro,” American Fiction became “American Kennel Club Fiction,” and Barbie became “Barkbie.”
They even gave us a little behind-the-scenes clip of the photoshoots behind the posters. For the “Barkbie” poster, the day care workers got a pink toy car for the puppies to drive. It looks exactly like Margot Robbie driving her pink convertible in the movie.
And don’t get us started on Poor creatures fraud. They managed to somehow get a Boston Terrier to sit down so they could paint his face to look like Emma Stone. So cute!
“Can I have your pawtograph?” doggy day care joke in the caption.
With over 357,000 views, the posters have become a hit online. Commenters were very impressed with all the hard work that went into the recreations. And the results aren’t too shabby either.
“Ten out of ten ZERO NOTES. This is amazing and deserves more likes,” praised one person. “I thought it was going to be Paw-ppenheimer,” added another. “I don’t watch the Oscars. I’d watch the Dogscars,” a third person kidded. “Why does Emma Stone seem like legit Boston?” asked another commenter. “I want Barbie one as a poster in my room,” one woman chimed in. “Literally the highlight of TikTok! love it,” said another.
They are very good. Someone call Hollywood – these puppies are clearly stars.
