My man gave me some time out. He keeps a close eye on the security cam to make sure there are no unwanted visitors (ie coyotes) for a few days before letting me out. He saw the peach kitty on the security cam, so he thought it might come.
And he did! The neighbors were busy outside — too many people for coyotes — so it was definitely safe for the two of us to visit.
He was so happy to see me, and during this visit, he couldn’t stop petting me.
He also loves getting treats from my person. (I mean, who doesn’t love treats!) And he’s very gentle when he gets them. But he is still very feral. He lets my man pet him, but only if he’s not looking at him. If he held out his hand for her, she wouldn’t rub his fingers like a tame cat. He refused her, although he did suck her hand a few times before leaving.
It was a fairly simple visit. You can see a video of our get together below. I hope the coyotes stay away so he can come back soon.
