Visitors to the PATS 2024 trade show later this year will have the opportunity to attend cutting-edge repair demonstrations, talks and Q&As over the three days of the event.
The exhibition, which will be held at the Telford International Center on Sunday September 29 to Tuesday October 1, 2024, will feature some of the country’s leading groomers within The Grooming Workshop, held in association with pet care brand For All DogKind.
Over the three days of PATS, workshops will include live demos, including the secrets behind creating the perfect groom; a live grooming contest; experts in special Q&A sessions; including talks on how dog grooming can benefit pet shops, how social media can benefit a grooming business and ways to increase turnover through grooming services.
Demonstrations on the first two days of the show (Sunday and Monday) will highlight the knowledge and expertise required to successfully complete all traditional repair techniques, while the focus of talks and Q&A sessions on the third day (Tuesday) is in potential. benefits of adding repairs to retail areas.
PATS organizer Gordon Thomas said: “We’re really excited to be running such a full program of grooming talks and demonstrations with For All DogKind.
“The repair demos are always a highlight of the PATS shows and it’s great to be doing such an interesting program again.”
For All DogKind director Laura Redstone added: “We feel honored to be organizing the PATS Grooming Workshop for the second year.
“We’re trying to raise awareness among groomers about the opportunity to expand their businesses through pet retail – and for retailers to have an additional opportunity to get people in the door. Our exposure has really helped here in PATS.”
He added: “Since the show is a three-day event, it gives us a great opportunity to provide a Workshop to cover more live demos, an organizing competition, social media support and Q&A with leading industry experts. PATS will be the place to be this year.”
