Plans have been unveiled for a dog grooming salon at a farm which has been transformed by new tenants.
Hannah Hetherington applied for preliminary approval to change the use of the barn at Mendhams farm off Hall Road in Outwell, near Wisbech.
He said in his planning statement: “We are looking to build a wooden structure inside the building to create a dog grooming salon.
“The salon will diversify the farm and bring in additional income. The dog grooming salon will offer job opportunities for local people.”

Miss Hetherington and Tom Martin, both 24, took up the tenancy of the 115-acre Mendhams Farm in October, 2022.
They changed the land by planting new hedges and re-sowing old fields.
Miss Hetherington said there would be no noise impact from the new business, which would be down a private track 320m from the road and trading would be at “social hours”.
