I haven’t been to a blogging conference since before the pandemic, so I’m super excited! Before going down to the reception, I toured the hotel a bit.
Often hotels have really generic art as decoration. But this hotel has some really unusual things! Like this multimedia wall art that contains videos of chirping birds. There are about half a dozen of them on one side of the lobby area.
I wore one of my sweaters for evening events, and even wore my knit hat for a while.
My man let me explore the swag room for ages! We were all allowed to get lots of cool stuff like treats and toys.
Brands also showcased their products, often accompanied by marketing people to chat with bloggers and influencers.
The reception was beautiful! All the tables had centerpieces filled with cat toys. This one had treats too.
This is what my man got me in the swag room! Pretty cool, isn’t it?
My man attended the morning panels without me, but he brought me along for the afternoon workshop. I sat quietly at the table while he wrote.
He also took me back to the swag room before they started tearing it down. Some of the items on display are part of a raffle. You can tell I really love this Squishmallows Lola cat bed.
I was also there for the closing remarks. It was an amazing weekend, and I’m glad I got to be a part of it!
My person didn’t win the Squishmallows cat bed…but the person saw how much I loved it and said I could have it!
