ALEXANDRIA, VA-Tanner is a 1 year old beautiful male chocolate colored dog. As a young person, he has a zest and zest for life and loves to have fun! AWLA staff and volunteers report that he absolutely loves running around the play yards chasing toys. In between running after toys, he will chase you and ask for belly rubs and pets. Tanner is very helpful with treats. He already knows the cue for “sit,” and will gently take treats from your hand. Tanner would love to find an active family that will spend time walking or running or giving him time to play. Tanner has made some doggie friends here at AWLA, including his best bud Kaiser. They have fun playing together!
The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria is located at 4101 Eisenhower Ave. Founded in 1946, AWLA has supported and served as a resource for homeless animals.
