Bosch, who studied Tax Law at Maastricht University and obtained an MBA at Nyenrode Business University, has over the years assisted (family) businesses, boards and shareholders as interim manager and interim director. In the role of trusted advisor, Bosch has been involved with the De Weerd family and Farm Food for several years.
“As our family business continues to expand and gain increasing market share in 20 countries, additional knowledge and experience at the management level is needed to guide our great company into the next phase,” added Gerrit de Weerd.
Bosch wanted to build on the foundation Gerrit de Weerd created with his wife Ingrid in 1982.
“What’s good, stays good and what could be better, we make better,” Bosch said.
The philosophy “Dogs First!” – on the foundation on which Farm Food was ultimately built with sons Maarten and Michiel and all employees – was and will remain the starting point. In addition, Farm Food will always pursue social and societal responsibility.
