The Manitowoc Unit of Fish & Game will have a May Meeting on Wednesday, May 8th, in Lincoln Park at cabin #1.
The meeting begins at 7:00 pm and is open to both members and the general public.
Often, the agenda includes a guest speaker, a short business meeting, and complimentary food and refreshments.
The guest speaker for this meeting will be Jason Breeggemann, a DNR Fisheries Biologist, who will provide insights into panfish regulations, along with survey results from Silver Lake and Pigeon Lake.
Additionally, there will be a brief update on the Manitowoc County Conservation Study, which was recently completed in April.
The unit also emphasizes that memberships for the 2024 term are now accessible.
With membership accounts shrinking in recent years, the organization highlights the importance of community support for all 25 conservation organizations in Manitowoc County.
Membership plays an important role in influencing future regulations, as well as protecting rights and resources.
Manitowoc Unit fees remain at $5 annually.
