It baffles dog lovers how any of them can be cruel. Such beautiful and innocent creatures who are ready to love anyone. Most dogs are even loyal to people who are unkind to them because of their forgiving nature. One such dog was fearlessly placed inside a box and left in a field. Fortunately, a kind woman found him before it was too late. The puppy was in terrible condition. He had severe eye swelling and was too weak and traumatized to move.
The woman took him to the emergency vet, where he had a full exam. He decided to name the puppy-warrior Alberto. He immediately faced it. The vet said he had a parasite in his eye, which was removed, and the swelling improved immediately. The dog grew stronger as he felt confident in his recovery and the kindness of the people around him.
The puppy was taken back to the woman’s home and she continued to recover with plenty of food, a warm place to sleep, and lots of love. He was amazed by his savior’s sweetness. Despite his cruel abandonment, the dog is absolutely smitten with his new human friends.
The woman’s heart jumped when Alberto’s recovery was complete. He made his first ‘zoomies’ and everyone who witnessed it was so excited that they started crying happy tears. We are very grateful for this rescue. Say goodbye to that pathetic box and a life of misery forever, Alberto. Here’s to many years of loving smiles!
