PetSmart vs. Petco
The largest pet supply companies in the United States are undoubtedly PetSmart and Petco Animal Supplies. PetSmart, headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, generates revenue from brick-and-mortar stores across the US, as well as Canada and Puerto Rico. In the 2020/21 fiscal year, the company generated nearly seven billion US dollars in revenue, an increase of more than 350 million compared to the previous fiscal year. On the other hand, Petco, which operates mainly in the US, Puerto Rico, and Mexico, brought in about three billion US dollars of revenue in 2020/21.
