Norway is grappling with its strongest storm in more than three decades, as storm force batters various regions of the Scandinavian country, reaching gusts of up to 180 kilometers (112 miles) per hour. Near Laerdal, a quaint town located northeast of Bergen, Norway’s second largest city, a bus carrying fourteen passengers was forced off the road in the early hours of Thursday, as confirmed by police, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Several areas experienced flooding, prompting airlines and ferry operators to suspend services. Additionally, there were scattered reports of school closures, along with road, tunnel, and bridge closures, both on Wednesday and Thursday.
