There is no better feeling for a dog owner than coming home to their pups waiting for them at the door, their tails wagging and their backs half moving. A dog owner has gone viral after explaining that her pup not only blinks with joy for her but also brings her presents.
In a viral clip shared on Instagram in December, under the username nubethesamoyed, the puppy, a fluffy white-coated Samoyed called Nube, can be seen welcoming his owner home with a thoughtful gift, including the tail wiggles, of course.
The heartwarming clip comes with a caption that says: “Today, my dog isn’t waiting at the door with a welcome home gift. He realized he didn’t have one for me, so he went to get a gift from his basket. ‘ This Ugg boot is perfect. Welcome back.” Followed by: “The way she looked at me before grabbing the toy.”
We all love our dogs more than anything in the world, but do they love us back? According to VCA Animal Hospitals, they do!
“Science proves that the part of the dog’s brain is associated with positive emotions and that they do, in fact, feel love for their human companions,” the website says.
Some of the most common signs that prove your dog loves you include eagerness to see you; jumping or barking, or getting super excited when you walk in the door, and bringing you gifts, among others.
The video quickly went viral on social media, garnering viewers from all over Instagram. So far it has received over 67,851 likes on the platform.
One user, anamariapopescu, commented: “I feel that sammys as a breed are as sweet as I’ve seen from all over the internet. Is this true?” And gamjamypotato said: “Always giving.” tanmelianiputri added: “That’s pure love right there.”
Cherylisad wrote: “My dog always grabs one of her toys as she runs to greet me! So sweet.” And ksspcadogs said: “My dog does this too. At doggy daycare, he couldn’t find anything, so he grabbed their doorstop, lol.”
Obsessedwithtugandrain added: “I love him so much!!! He thinks fast and gets something.”
Newsweek nubethesamoyed was contacted for comment via Instagram chat. We cannot verify the details of the case.
