Alex Knight Salmon: After a few days of fishing in the Deveron with a group of friends, Alex and his friend James decided to walk up to the inaccessible and under-fished water. Seeing a big fish show, Alex fished down to where he saw it, when his fly was in 3ft of water, all locked up solid and alligatored. The battle ensued with Alex fighting a large fish in the fast water off a spit of an island that proved difficult to tame but he got the net under this lump swimming after a few quick photos. |

George Gall Brown Trout: George was fishing Rescobie Loch in a local club competition on Saturday when he hooked this Brownie which put up a good fight with some fantastic runs. Caught on a pearly cormorant it weighed 7lb 15oz |

Andrew McPeake Tench: Autumn has its challenges with very blustery conditions, so after getting drenched on his last two outings, Andrew chose somewhere sheltered from the wind. Leaving at 5am and fishing through the first light targeting silver fish with a mix if Swim Stim Groundbait and Krill Meal. The target was a silver fish but surprisingly he hooked a couple of Tench that went down the reeds. Convinced by 10am that he had lost his chance of netting one, Andrew’s bite alarm went off and a fish shot into the middle of the loch, after what seemed like an age he landed a ten 4lb 6oz. Andrew enjoyed the last part of the season and can’t wait until next spring to target them again. |

Cal Boyd Pair of 50lb Carp: Cal was lucky enough to fish the beautiful Lake Bled in Slovenia for 4 days with some friends. Fishing is difficult because the lake is 400 acres and 100 feet deep in places. They rented bikes to move around the lake and stay with the fish, Cal caught the same carp jumping over the edge less than a rod from the bank in 3 feet of water. Both fell for the tiger nut and boilie approach and put up incredible battles in deep gin clear water. |

John Kenny Pike: A 35lb lump of a Pike caught in a private water using deadbaits and tackle all purchased from Glasgow Angling Centre |

Connor Stewart Perch: Connor caught this specimen in a Scottish loch, when he saw how big the fish was and how well it hung on to the fight he was relieved to get the net under it. |
