Some dogs play with toys, and accidentally destroy them while playing with them. It’s not their fault! That’s how I give Hammy the Corgi the benefit of the doubt. His father ‘charges’ him with breaking the new toy, and their conversation about it will make you smile!
The two shared the video on Tuesday, February 20th. We see Hammy in jail uniform and handcuffs, trying to defend himself against unfair accusations. Watch till the end his reaction to being sent to doggy jail!
Poor Hammy! His cat sister resents him, even though his father also has video evidence of the crime. I always love the banter back and forth between the two, and Hammy is always so feisted about it, but in this case, I think that the destruction was an accident. Commenters agreed that Hammy was framed and demanded justice, like @chachapeters1 who shouted, “Hammy looks innocent to me. Circumstantial evidence!!! Free Hammy!!!” and @Tootsie added, “I believe in Hammy! I’m calling the folks at the Innocence Project!!! This isn’t the first time Hammy’s been locked up – he’s regularly put in ‘air jail’ when he needs to get his nails trimmed. ..although this is a shorter sentence!

What to Look for When Buying Dog Toys
If your dog is a chewer, you know that destroying toys is a lot of fun for them. There are many toys out there that will satisfy the need to chew, but are more indestructible than stuffed toys.
When buying toys, it’s important to buy toys that don’t have things that can tear like eyes, buttons, and sometimes even limbs if they’re stuffed. KONG toys are perfect for destructive dogs because they are heavy duty, engaging, and take years to destroy. They have a wide variety of toys and there are probably at least two or three that your dog will love.
This robot actually allows you to talk to your dog and even delivers treats. The dogs who review it love to follow it and are very curious about it. It looks like fun for them (and they know it has gifts to give!)
The seeds they can chew on are also delicious. Nylabones are a good example of durable ones, and also help keep your dog’s teeth clean. But skip the raw skins because when the pieces break off, they can be a choking hazard, much like squeaky toys.
