JAMES CITY COUNTY — Pet grooming studio Doggo Den recently celebrated its expansion.
The expansion allowed for a separate laundry station, upgraded products for dog skin and coat health, and the addition of two new groomers.
While the new studio is bright and inviting, owner Erinn Loren says their goal remains to “provide a calm space for dogs to feel comfortable because some dogs don’t always have a positive attitude about fixing.”
Education and training are also important to Loren, “all of our groomers are experienced and knowledgeable in safe handling skills. The entire team is going to Intergroom (an international grooming conference) this year to participate in certificate courses and continuing education.
Giving back to the community and helping local rescue groups is another priority for the locally owned establishment.
