RALEIGH, NC (WNCN) — Say you feed your furry family member two cups of dry food each day. Over the course of a year, that’s 730 cups—or 45 gallons—and that’s if you have something to feed.
Chewy is offering a little relief with a free year of pet food for 10 lucky customers in the form of a $1,000 gift card.
Instead of a gold ticket, selected winners will receive a blue ticket from Chewy in the mail.

To be considered for the free year of pet food, Chewy said three criteria must be met:
- You must be a customer signed up for Chewy’s autoship program
- You’ll have to drop a comment on one of Chewy’s posts on its Instagram or Facebook about what you “like most about autoship” by July 31.
- You must have placed an autoship order between June 9, 2023 and June 9, 2024
For those not yet enrolled to receive autoship orders, Chewy says there’s still something to celebrate where first-timers can get 35% off their first autoship order and 5% off everything subsequent orders. Deliveries via autoship can be skipped or canceled at any time and there is no annual fee required, according to Chewy.
While food is a common staple in autoship orders, Chewy said among the most popular items shipped across the country are shampoos, dental treats, toys, supplements and yes, poop bags.
