I got to have a therapy cat visit at the big hospital this week, and I’m having fun with the patients!I got to Pediatrics right after a few kids left, so I only got to see two girls. But they were wonderful visits. The first girl was amazing – she completely lost the energy of the cat. He knows very well how to take care of me and make me feel at home. Soon I was enthusiastically moaning and having fun. My man showed him how to high five me so we did the same. My man even got an…

Some of my most popular posts on my blog and social media are my adventures with peach kitty. And people often ask why they didn’t just take him, or trap him, and bring him inside. The truth is, it’s not that easy, and it’s not that easy. The peach kitty is at least a second generation feral cat. His mother is wild, and we don’t know where she came from. Feral cats cannot be taken off the street and tamed within days or weeks. Maybe less than a month. Or ever.Yes, it happens, but not without a lot of preparation, conscious…

It’s time for my weekly outtakes, and I’ve got some silly poses for you this time!I’m surprised it didn’t end up in the original blog post for this photo session! But the truth is, even the most clueless cat lover knows better than to shake my hand and not let go of my paw.I was so excited to be shooting in the turret again that I moved around instead of posing. My guy made a lot of messes with the set up, so I either left the set (which you can’t see here, because, duh, it’s an empty picture frame). Or…

I was so excited to be at the Ventura cat show this past weekend!I didn’t get to wear as many clothes as I brought (in fact, the show ended earlier than I expected). But I made sure to wear this one.And it rained a bit in the afternoon. Even though I stayed inside where it was dry (except when we had to leave and I was in my carrier), I put on my raincoat for a while. Some nice lady was giving away these wool cat toy knots for free, so my man grabbed one. He didn’t think I would be…

I have a cat show in Ventura this Saturday! This is the third time I’ve been to this location, and I love it. The only problem this time: it’s going to be rainy, and a little cold. But I wanted to wear some spring clothes, so I chose thicker materials.Like this red and white striped dress for example. And this cute dress. I love the tulle petticoat under the skirt and can’t remember the last time I wore it to a cat show.I don’t know if I will wear this dress. Maybe it’s too cold.I’m more likely to wear a hoodie!…

For one of my posts this week, my guy wanted to get some pictures of me looking pissed off about holding people’s hands. That was a difficult task for me, because I love the human touch! Especially the tummy rubs.I can’t get enough of them, which I guess is pretty obvious.I’m not just one of those cats that will bring out claws of doom when someone touches my tummy.I think this kind of reaction to rubbing my belly is an outtake!I don’t mind touching my feet either. It’s hard for me to fake feline annoyance!Eventually he got some shots he…

I do the best I can with all my cat therapy visits, but some days are better than that, and this week’s visit to the children’s hospital was one of them. I moaned almost non-stop the entire time I was there, and I got high fives and even a few heads.First we stop at the surgery where a boy looks like he’s waiting for preparations. He was not sedated and was very happy to see me. I was very happy to see him. After saying hi to some staff in the lobby, we stopped by to see if anyone wanted to…

April 1, 2024 by: Summer SambacommentOn a whim, and out of time, my man decided I should read a tarot card! Well, as you can see, I have a scratcher house for this. And she owns several decks of cat-themed tarot cards. So he took the very hand, which happened to be the Tarot of Pagan Cats deck. And here we are.To make it easier for me — and because he hadn’t looked at tarot cards in a while — he only used the Major Arcana. And he said I only had to pick one card, and it would be…
