LOCKPORT, IL — A woman whose Pomeranian dog named Brandon died on Oct. 15, 2021, has retained a Joliet law firm to file a civil suit against Best In Show Dog & Cat Grooming on East 9th Street, accusing the Lockport business of negligence in the death of her dog.The lawsuit was filed in Will County’s Courthouse on behalf of Brandon’s owner, Brendalisse Figueroa, by Joliet attorney Luke Antonsen of Hamilton & Antonsen on Executive Drive.
