Reflecting the dynamic pet food market, Petfood Forum 2024 will feature the latest nutrition, processing and safety research, updates on trends and market data, and deep dives into how to find the innovation sweet spot for you and your business.
The Petfood Forum will take place April 29-May 1, 2024, at the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. After an opening reception on the evening of April 29, the conference will begin on April 30 with an opening keynote by Daniel Levine, director of the Avant-Guide Institute, a global trends consultancy, who will provide insights for food producers of pets and professionals to help them understand upcoming trends and turbocharge their innovation.
Continuing the focus on innovation, on May 1, Tamara Ghandour, founder of LaunchStreet and creator of the Innovative Quotient Edge assessment, will guide audience members in using this tool to unlock their innovative minds. She will also present later that day, on “Making tough decisions that will serve you,” during the Women in Petfood Leadership luncheon and networking session.
Between Levine and Ghandour’s presentations, concurrent session tracks will offer the latest research and insights into the pet food market, nutrition and ingredients, processing, safety and quality. The conference part of Petfood Forum 2024 will close on the afternoon of May 1 with a panel discussion on pet food sustainability.
Participants can gain additional information and learning from Student Program research presentations and supplier-led Tech Talks. Petfood Forum will also offer access to the pet food industry’s leading suppliers in the large exhibit hall, and plenty of opportunities to network with them and other industry professionals.
Animal-related charities will bring service dogs and puppies, with the opportunity to give back to the larger pet community. In partnership with Petfood Forum, separate seminars and events are available from the Association of American Feed Control Officials, the Pet Food Alliance and a consumer mission.
