The RNLI Safety Roadshow have confirmed that they will be attending the GAC Spring Open Weekend Event on 8th, 9th and 10th March 2024! Come along, talk to the team and bring your life jacket for a checkup.
The safety roadshow is packed with useful information and guidance to increase awareness of safety in and around water. There are 1000s of anglers out there every week pursuing our passion and we need to take steps to ensure we all get home safely to our families.
The RNLI Team will be on the exhibitor’s marquee in front of the shop throughout the weekend holding FREE lifejacket clinics as well as providing safety advice to keep you safe whenever you’re on the water.

In addition to providing general safety advice, the RNLI operates a lifejacket clinic where anglers can bring their life jackets to be checked and where they can receive advice and instruction on the correct use and maintenance of life jackets .
A particularly important focus is the automatic inflation type of jacket, the most common type used by recreational anglers in the UK. Please make sure you visit them while you’re at our event – you never know when you might need the help of the RNLI! https://rnli.org/
