Every fly fisherman starts out as a beginner, it’s a skill and an artform that takes practice and everyone no matter how long you’ve been doing it should learn how to do it right!
That’s what the instructors want John Milne enter the game. The guidance and instruction makes learning how to cast a fly line easy and the tips and tricks that come from instructors like John, stay with us for a very long time.
If you’ve been thinking about giving fly fishing a try, John will be here at our Open Weekend to give you some casting lessons! As mentioned before John is an instructor, but he is one of the few instructors to hold the prestigious Scottish Game Angling Instructors Certificate (SGAIC). He is also recognized by the Scottish Anglers National Association (SANA).
Representing the Guide, John will have a range of rods available to cast during the day. If you want to test your skills in our Casting Competition, ask John for details throughout the weekend and see if you can top the leaderboard for daily prizes or scoop the top spot and win yourself a new rod!
