Instead of staying in a hotel for our trip to Victorville, my man and I did something different, and better! His girlfriend had a getaway house in the desert about halfway between our home and Victorville, so we stayed there!
It’s awesome! I had a whole house to explore instead of a small hotel room. Her boyfriend had gotten some groceries, but they really weren’t using the kitchen much for this trip.
They didn’t use this bathtub either. (There’s a shower in the other bathroom.) But it’s huge!
After a long day at the cat show, I got to zoom around the house and jump on every high surface there was and generally be a cat. I even figured out how to get on top of the fridge. I’m so happy!
Unfortunately, our stay was too short. My man wants to go home, and his girlfriend has to edit a trailer for the movie he made. So we went back right after the cat show Sunday night.
I’m glad to be home, but I really could have stayed here longer!
