The Maple Ridge branch of the BC SPCA is inviting the community to support their furry friends in need this weekend.
A bake and pet supply sale will be held to help raise money for the animals in their care.
There will be something for everyone, said branch manager Kahlee Demers.
“Pet lovers in town are invited to indulge their sweet tooth and peruse pet supplies, while contributing to a noble cause,” she said.
Organized by Maple Ridge community animal center staff and volunteers, there will be an array of homemade treats, including cupcakes, cookies, and more – in addition to a selection of new and gently used pets supplies, including toys, bowls, accessories. , bedding, treats and crates, all available at unbeatable prices.
Baked goods ingredient lists can also be used.
The sale will take place from noon to 4 pm at the Maple Ridge BC SPCA located at 10235 Jackson Road, on Friday Feb. 16, Saturday, Feb. 17, and Sunday, Feb. 18.
All proceeds from the event will go towards providing essential care and support for shelter animals.
