The following are some of the fish dry dinners offered during the Lenten season in The News-Herald coverage area.
• Knights of Columbus Council 5286 is hosting all-you-can-eat Fish Bake Fridays from February 16 to March 22, except March 15.
They will take place from 4 to 7 pm at Immaculate Conception Church, 2846 Hubbard Road in Madison. The menu includes battered or seasoned baked fish, baked-diced potatoes, mac-n-cheese, cole slaw, home-prepared desserts and drinks.
Dine-in only for $15 per person, $7 per child under 12, $50 for children in families of four or more. Take-out is available at the door.
The Knights’ annual Spring Cash Bonanza Charity statewide raffle with 25 cash prizes ranging from $500 to $49, is also available for a $5 donation.
• The American Legion Jay Wilson Post 112 is once again serving fish fry meals the following Fridays — Feb. 23, and March 1, 8, 22, and 29.
The complete fish dinner is $12 and can be had from 5 to 7 pm, either for dine-in or take-out. The post is located at 6671 Middle Ridge Road in Madison.
• The Willoughby-Cleveland Elks Lodge 18, 38860 Mentor Ave. in Willoughby, will offer a fish fry meal from 5 to 7:30 pm every Friday from February 16 to March 29.
It will be dine-in or carryout and the menu will feature a choice of walleye dinner for $16, three or four piece perch dinner for $13 to $16 and two or three seafood cake dinners for $13 to $16. A perch/shrimp combo for $13 and shrimp and steak dinners are also available as well as children’s meals.
All dinners come with a cheddar biscuit and a choice of potatoes or mac and cheese. Add $1 for handling.

• The St. John Vianney Fish Fry is from 5-7:30 pm Friday, Feb. 16 to March 22 at Fr. Kline Social Center, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor.
Dine-in cost is $20 for adults, $10 for children ages 5-12 and free for children 4 and younger. Take-out orders cost $20. All-you-can-eat is not available on take-out orders.
Dinners include soup, salad, cole slaw, baked and fried fish, pierogies, mac and cheese, rolls, dessert and beverage. Chicken tenders are available for children.
Cash, check and credit card accepted.
