TRUSSVILLE — Scenthound dog grooming is opening a new location in Trussville later this year.

This is the fourth of twenty stores that business partners Jacob Lee and Brett Basik plan to open between Alabama and Tennessee.
“We are excited to expand to Trussville,” Jacob said. “Since opening the doors of our first store in Lee Branch in 2022, we now have nearly 2,200 members of our Monthly Care Club and have had over 25,000 dog visits. Our focus on routine care and basic hygiene caters to the dog community in Birmingham, and we want to make it easy for pet parents to keep their pups clean and healthy.”
Scenthound focuses on five main areas of maintenance for dogs in their care: skin, coat, ears, nails and teeth.
Monthly memberships start at $35 and include a bath, ear cleaning, nail clips, and teeth brushing. Haircuts and other services can be added as needed.
The Trussville store is located in the Hamilton Place shopping center off Hwy 11 between Smoothie King and Birmingham Orthodontics and is slated to open in late December/early January.
