Dog owners in Rochester, get ready for a new approach to dog care. Central Bark, the leading whole dog care franchise and industry pioneer, is hosting a Grand Opening celebration of its newest location in Henrietta, New York on Saturday, February 10. The dog-themed afternoon is free and open in public. The new location is owned by local resident Phil Clark and his family.
Located at 65 Saginaw Drive, the nearly 7,000-square-foot indoor and 2,000-square-foot outdoor facility is open for tours, dog trainer demonstrations, door prizes, and more. Dogs, provided they are leashed, socialized, and vaccinated, can participate in tours of that facility and explore outdoor play equipment (weather permitting). A highlight of the afternoon was a Puppy Bowl, just 24 hours before the “Big Game.” The short play event designed for puppies takes place over 4 quarters and is specifically focused on extreme cuteness. Pet parents can register for Central Bark Henrietta’s Puppy Bowl by signing up for Puppy Hour on February 10. Participants will be chosen at random.
Additionally, Bones Dog Bakery will be sampling some of their award winning cakes and treats for four-legged guests while pet parents can grab bites from the Macarollin food truck. The Lollypop Farm Humane Society of Greater Rochester will also host dog adoptions. Guests who attend have multiple chances to win one of Central Bark’s many specialty gift bags.

Central Bark Henrietta opened a few weeks ago, and pet parents have been lining up since day one to enroll their dogs in the facility’s reimagined approach to all-around dog care. With a staff of about 12, Phil runs the day-to-day operations at Central Bark Henrietta, which is the brand’s first in New York state. The new location in Henrietta is part of the Central Bark brand’s extensive expansion plan, which includes opening 15 new units this year and a goal of 200 Central Bark locations by 2027.
