EVERGREEN PARK, IL — The big-hearted Evergreen Park Mustangs are holding a pet food drive for the PAWS Tinley Park animal shelter, which suffered a devastating dryer fire last week, displacing 100 animals awaiting their forever homes . More than 20 require oxygen for smoke inhalation.
From now until January 26, students will collect canned food, canned dog food, and dog and cat toys for the shelter so they can continue to care for these animals despite their increasing treatment and repair fees. Towels and sheets are also needed.
