Happy Dress Up Your Pet Day! At least it’s fun for me. I don’t know why Colleen Paige invented this day. A pet lifestyle expert (which he seems to be) should know that 95 percent of dogs and 99 percent of cats don’t want to wear clothes. Whatever. This day was made for me (pun intended). As you know, I’m in the 1 percent (probably less) of cats who enjoy dressing up! So I’m picking out my favorite outfit to wear today, an outfit I don’t wear very often.
It looks good to me, and considering it’s pretty chilly, even here in southern California, it’s a good choice for today. But there is a secret about this dress that not many people know.
My dress has a doppelganger! It’s a more holiday-inspired first, with a plaid skirt and trim. Then, sometime later, my human saw the one with pink skirt and trim. He knew it was the same design with a different color scheme and material, but he thought it suited me. So he got it. It’s not often that you see the same pet clothes in different colors or patterns. Although it happens sometimes.
