I am a pet owner and I want to make my career in something in and around pets. So, I applied for a pet care course in Mumbai based private institute and a private university in Taiwan,” said Achintya Bajpayee. Another student, Ankita Maurya, applied for in a bachelor in rural studies. “Instead of going for traditional courses, I applied for admission in bachelor in rural studies in private universities in Bhopal and Mumbai. Rural India has always fascinated me, and I want to conduct studies and research on various aspects of village life,” says Maurya. He said in this course one gets an opportunity to work in various rural and community development activities such as animal husbandry, forestry, farm management, child development, agriculture, environmental management, community development and others. Students also applied for courses such as spa management, museum studies, gerontology (study of aging and others). I want to become an expert in drawing maps whether it is used for navigation, mountaineering, weather reports, construction of railway lines or others,” said Aryan Malholtra.
