Based at Four Dells Farm, Able Groomers offers a range of services for dogs large and small, such as a full groom service, as well as hand stripping, bathing and brushing.
Owner Ruth Gooddard said: “Here at Able Groomers we are in our final year of being a provider of dog grooming training for people who want to become dog groomers. We do a lot with dogs eager and with a great team ethic. No dog is turned away, big and small, we do them all. We help the community by doing charity events and hosting students who want to gain experience at work. We have wonderful clients who are both owners and dogs and we all really enjoy what we do.”
Able Groomers is no stranger to awards, having previously won three Prestige awards. This is also for the Lux Life Award.
The Animal Star Awards were launched in 2016 and recognize the extraordinary work that animals and people can do together.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Village Hotel in Portsmouth on Sunday, May 26.
