Ocean State Job Lot Donates Nearly $400,000 in Retail Value of Pet Food to Local Animal Rescue Organizations

(NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI) — Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL), the region’s leading discount retail chain with 153 stores throughout the Northeast, has launched a pet food donation program for animal welfare organizations, including earlier To the Rescue partners, who meet the criteria of the charitable program. OSJL donated nearly $400,000 in retail value of select cat and dog food on a first-come, first-served basis.

To qualify for the program, each organization must be a registered nonprofit with a tax-ID, have state-issued paperwork stating that the organization serves animal welfare, and can deliver pet food from in the store itself.
