FRANKLIN, TENN. — Mars Pet Nutrition’s CESAR Canine Cuisine brand added a new wet dog food formula to its portfolio on March 12. The new product, CESAR Filets in Gravy Wet Dog Food Mini-Pouch, is designed to deliver the brand’s trusted nutrition in a convenient format.
The peel-and-serve packaging for the CESAR Mini-Pouch gives dog owners a “hassle-free dining experience,” according to Mars, especially for on-the-go pet parents and those who want to travel with their pup. They can be used as a complete-and-balanced meal or as a meal topper.
According to the brand, the new smaller pouches also offer smaller serving sizes to ensure dogs enjoy every last bite.
“Pet parents know and love our CESAR brand for its culinary-forward recipes in our wet and dry food varieties,” said Jean-Paul Jansen, chief marketing officer of Mars Pet Nutrition North America. “With the introduction of the CESAR Mini-Pouch, we’re giving pet food consumers more gourmet foods and feeding options in the flavors their dogs love.”
CESAR Mini-Pouch products offer three recipes — Filet Mignon, Rotisserie Chicken, and Wood-Grilled Chicken — available in 10-, 20- and 40-count packages. Each formula includes real chicken or beef and is free of fillers and artificial flavors. They are currently available online and in-store at various retailers across the United States.
