A dog walking service out of Austin has brought an outpost to Houston and will celebrate with a grand opening party on April 13.

Although Let’s Walk Houston launched their online-based business in September, owner Allie Landis said the company will bring DeX Treats, or Doggie Express bakery, in April to commemorate the arrival of the business. The bakery is located at 1402 W. 34th St., Houston.
The insured and bonded pet care company offers one-on-one dog walking, with walk notifications that include GPS route, potty activity, and start and end times. The staff will also provide feeding, water refreshment and cleaning during walks if needed.
According to Landis, Let’s Walk Houston services the following areas in Houston:
- The Heights
- Midtown
- Montrose
- Rice Military
- Rice University
- River Oaks

In addition to dog walking, Let’s Walk Houston offers specific care for puppies, as well as vacation care—where staff can stay at a customer’s home while they’re away. or makes daily visits to exercise, feed, treat and clean up after pets. This service also includes detailed email reports with daily updates and photos.
