Aladdin the pit bull endured a rough start, suffering from starvation and neglect before being rescued by a shelter. However, remarkably, he possesses a deep love for people and possesses an innate desire to help them. It was as if Aladdin had a sixth sense for recognizing individuals in need of comfort, dedicating himself to uplifting their spirits.
His amazing empathy and service did not go unnoticed, as he was honored with the prestigious title of Therapy Dog of the Year by the American Humane Association! 🙂

Aladdin was adopted by Michele Schaffer, and she immediately saw his connection with people, especially children. Within a year, he became a certified therapy dog! He remembers the time he was being caressed, and he jumped up and ran to a boy. That boy has brain cancer. It was just one of those moments where Laddy knew where to put himself to bring joy to someone in need.
