Pet Supplies Plus and DoorDash will offer same-day delivery of pet products from all over 720 of retailer stores. DoorDash already works with several retailers in the pet supplies vertical, including Petco and Choice Pet.
“Since launching the Pets vertical in 2020, DoorDash has more than 400,000 pet products available for on-demand delivery,” said Fuad Hannon, VP of New Verticals at DoorDash in a statement. “We are excited to further expand our selection with the addition of Pet Supplies Plus to the marketplace.”

Over the past few months, DoorDash has been expanding into new verticals and growing its supermarket footprint. In November 2023 Best Buy added DoorDash as an on-demand delivery partner, and in January 2024 DoorDash partnered with five recreation and wellness retailers including The Vitamin Shoppe, JD Sports and Finish line. Ahold Delhaize USA partnered with DoorDash for on-demand delivery from here five East Coast supermarket banners in February 2024.
