I chose this air purifier in the past to help manage the ~smell~ that sometimes comes from my cats’ litter box when it starts to fill up, and to help keep the air in my NYC apartment cleaner in general . I’m also (lol) very allergic to cats, and even though I get allergy shots for it, it’s also nice to help reduce pet dander for myself and any guests with allergies. This stuff makes a DIFFERENCE. It cuts down on any noticeable odors from the cats, my air is cleaner, and my allergies are basically out of the apartment.
I was *especially* grateful to have it recently when the Canadian wildfires brought smoke all the way to NYC, where the AQI (air quality index) was over 400 at some points (for those who don’t know, that’s BAD ). This helped keep the air inside my apartment as clean as possible, which made me feel better for myself and my kitties. Since I have one bedroom, I’ll probably get a second one just so I don’t have to move it back and forth at night. Oh, and it’s pretty quiet – it basically acts as white noise, which can come in handy if you run it at night in the bedroom too.
